SUMMARY:If Cars Could Talk -- The Art and Flair of the Hood Ornament
DESCRIPTION:In the land of designer logos\, the hood ornament holds a unique place. The identity of the car could be found in the hood ornament\, also known as Motor Mascots. The refined artwork in a motor mascot reflected movements in society and stylistic eras. Manufacturers put serious thought into these miniature symbols of their brands. And sometimes–hidden meanings! Join ACM Curator\, Pandora Paul\, and find out what these masterpieces say about the cars\, people who own the cars\, and historic events \nThe If Cars Could Talk lecture series is FREE for ACM Members and is also included with Museum admission. Bring a lunch to enjoy\, light refreshments provided. \n
