Kick Off Driving Season with Vintage Station Wagons in the Route 66 Gallery

America’s Car Museum is kicking off the summer vacation season with an entertaining new display featuring sensational vintage American Station Wagons in the Route 66 Gallery opened with great enthusiasm last May.

Route 66 is a road so quintessentially American that it has become a permanent part of our cultural memory: Route 66, the Mother Road, the Main Street of America. Even those too young to have experienced its heyday can instantly picture the neon signs and teepee-shaped motels. People around the world recognize Route 66 as a symbol of space, freedom, abundance, and the thrill of the unexpected: everything great about the U.S.A.
