Steve Saleen is a legendary figure in American performance and automotive innovation, renowned for reshaping the supercar landscape with his visionary engineering and bold design. As the founder of Saleen Automotive, Steve has spent more than four decades creating high-performance Mustangs, race-winning machines, and, most notably, the iconic Saleen S7—the first American-built supercar to compete with Europe’s elite.
Saleen’s career is defined by a relentless drive to push boundaries on both the street and the track. His vehicles have captured championships in series such as SCCA, IMSA, and Le Mans, earning him recognition as one of the most influential performance car builders of his generation. Beyond racing success, he has built a reputation for making cutting-edge performance accessible, blending speed, style, and everyday drivability in ways that have inspired enthusiasts worldwide.

America's newest supercar, the Saleen S-11, is a celebration of ingenuity, engineering and style, and you can help choose its final design!
Created at Saleen's headquarters in Corona, California, the S-11 supercar will set new standards for performance. And while many design elements are locked in, due to engineering development timelines, there are still lots of choices to be made!
That's where you come in. Over the course of the next year, the full-size clay model of the S-11 on display at "The Birth of the American Supercar" exhibit at the LeMay Museum in Tacoma, Washington will evolve into its final, production-ready shape.
You will get to decide headlight and taillight designs, side skirt shapes, rear greenhouse angles and more. And while that's going on, Saleen will be revealing additional S-11 specifications, such as power output, body materials and of course, when you can order one!
