If Cars Could Talk – Powering the Automobile – Past, Present & Future

April 9, 2019 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

How has the way we’ve powered our vehicles changed since the rise of the automobile? Join us as ACM Museum Educator and Facilitator and retired automotive instructor, Wayne Bridges, discusses the evolution of powering our personal transportation. From the very first “horseless carriages” to the amazing research going on today that aims to provide more efficient and renewable sources of power in the future, this is sure to be a fun and informational discussion of where we started, where we are now and where we are headed.

There are many chapters to the story of the automobile. If cars could talk, they might just share stories we never imagined. Each month, our speaker will pick a car and offer a fascinating peek into its history. Join us the second Tuesday of each month, and explore the story of cars with Museum curators, staff, or local personalities over lunch.

This event is FREE for ACM Members and included with Museum admission. Bring a lunch, or enjoy a meal from Classics by Pacific Grill.
