There are many chapters to the story of the automobile. If cars could talk, they might just share stories we never imagined. Each month, our speaker will pick a car and offer a fascinating peek into its history. Join us the first Tuesday of each month, and explore the story of cars with Museum curators, staff, or local personalities over lunch.
ACM Docent Doug Wolford will speak on Charles Chayne’s accomplishments as Buick’s Chief Engineer from 1936-1951. Joining the program will be Chayne’s daughter Nancy Martin who will relate memories of her father’s participation in historical events including the 1946 Golden Jubilee in Detroit.
Free, with Museum admission. Bring a lunch, or enjoy a meal from Classics by Pacific Grill.
