There are many chapters to the story of the automobile. If cars could talk, they might just share stories we never imagined. Each month, our speaker will pick a car and offer a fascinating peek into its history. Join us the first Tuesday of each month, and explore the story of cars with Museum curators, staff, or local personalities over lunch.
The General Motors Motorama was an auto show staged by GM from 1949 to 1961. These shows were designed to boost automobile sales with displays of prototypes, concept vehicles, and other special vehicles. Guest speaker Doug Wolford will discuss the fate of these one-of-a-kind cars including how many still exist today.
