THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. KEEP AN EYE ON OUR EVENT CALENDAR FOR A FUTURE DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
Young drivers (15-18) are invited to join the Education and Collections Departments at LeMay – America’s Car Museum for a workshop highlighting the necessary and oftentimes overlooked aspects of being a new driver! ACM team members will guide participants as they roll up their sleeves to learn the fundamentals of basic car care—we’ll look under the hood, change a tire, demonstrate how to jump a car, review best practices and driving scenarios, and more. Consider this workshop your Car Care 101 to feel confident and safe in the driver’s seat and on the road!
Registration covers all materials needed for the program, including snacks. Teens should wear closed toe shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting dirty, bring a reusable water bottle, and participants with hair longer than shoulder length should bring a hair tie. Disposable gloves are encouraged but the Museum will provide extras as needed. Please note that this course does not replace a driver’s education course.
* Please note that refunds cannot be issued following the close of program registration. In order to receive a refund prior to the close of registration, all cancellations must be made in writing.
