Pinewood Derby One-Day Intensive

November 11 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

This one-day workshop offers 3rd-6th graders the chance to build their very own pinewood derby cars from scratch. With the help of the ACM Education team, participants will design, build, and race their cars in this fun-filled, all-day workshop at the Museum. If Alfas Could Talk–Alfa Romeo Prototypes and Show Cars

Some of the most beautiful prototipo ever made were Alfa Romeos.  We’ll discuss the one-off cars from 1914, the B.A.T. cars of the 1950’s, Sprint Speciale low nose, the wild 60s and 70s with the Carabo, Iguana, Navajo, and others, plus the Brera, 2uettottanta, Diva, and more.  Amazing cars designed to catch your eye and that is what they did.
